Chancellor's Service Award
The Chancellor's Service Award is a selective award honoring graduating students (graduate and undergraduate), who have made significant contributions to UCLA and/or the surrounding Los Angeles community through a sustained record of outstanding leadership and service. The recipients of this award are selected by a panel of service-minded UCLA staff members and are distinguished by the blue and gold fourragère, which is worn during their Commencement ceremony. The application for the 2020-2021 eligibility period is now open until May 15, 2021.
This award was developed to give recognition at graduation to those students who throughout their years at UCLA have donated their time and energy to making a positive difference at UCLA and in the community. To be honored, a graduating student must have established a sustained record of commitment to leadership and service through their outstanding contributions.
The recipients of this award are distinguished by the blue and gold fourragère, which is worn during the Commencement ceremony. Undergraduate students are also honored by having their names listed in a special section of the Commencement program. Other opportunities associated with receiving the Chancellor's Service Award are determined on an annual basis.
Applicants must receive an undergraduate or graduate degree, or have an expected graduation term in the Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall 2021. Applicants must submit an electronic application at the link provided in the "Apply" section below. Failure to submit the application on time and in the format requested will lead to disqualification. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
The application for the 2020-2021 eligibility period is open now.
