Welcome Bruins!
This fall we are launching an online educational module on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The module, created by EverFi and advocated for by the Afrikan Student Union (ASU) with support from the Mother Organization Coalition, is designed to be a brief orientation to a lifetime of learning about, engaging with, and respectfully discussing identities. We are hopeful that this online course will give the campus community a baseline understanding of critical issues related to equity and inclusion for all students. With its introduction, it will join several other trainings offered to incoming students with topics concerning sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and financial literacy.
This module, has also been offered to students at UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, and UC Davis. For UCLA, it serves as the first step in our goal to equip you with the critical thinking skills to consider these important issues of diversity and empower you to take action wherever needed to promote an inclusive campus for all.
